The Mama Cow HERD Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions

Welcome to The Herd, the official affiliate program for The Mama Cow. We’re so glad you’re here! Before we moo-ve forward together, here are the guidelines that keep our community fair, fun, and thriving.

 

1. Joining the Herd

• Apply to join, most approvals happen quickly.
• We reserve the right to say no if something doesn’t align with Mama Cow’s values (like hate, spam, or inappropriate content).

2. What’s Expected of Our Affiliates

Being part of the Herd means:

• Honest storytelling. Share Mama Cow in your authentic voice, no wild claims or misrepresentation.
• Transparency matters 🪞 Always disclose your affiliate relationship (FTC requires it, e.g., “I may earn a small commission if you buy through this link”).
• Protecting the brand 🐮 No spamming, no fake accounts, and no pretending to be Mama Cow staff.
• Creative requirement ✨ If you receive a sample, you agree to create and share your content within 2 weeks. Send your assets to lisa@themamacow.com and tag @themamacow when posting so we can celebrate and share your work!
  
  

3. Commissions & Payouts

• Standard commission: [Insert % – e.g., 10%] of net sales (after discounts, taxes, and refunds).
• Commissions are tracked through our affiliate system. Make sure you’re using your correct links.
• Payouts happen monthly, once you reach $25 USD minimum. We’ll pay via [PayPal /Venmo/ ACH].
  
  

4. No-Go Zones 

To keep things fair for everyone, affiliates may not:

• Buy ads using “Mama Cow” or trademarked terms.
• Use coupon or discount sites without our okay.
• Send spammy emails with affiliate links.
• Offer your own discounts, deals, or freebies that aren’t from us.
  
  

5. Ending the Partnership

• Either of us can end this agreement at any time, no hard feelings.
• If it ends, please remove Mama Cow links and content from your pages.
• Any unpaid commissions under the $25 threshold will not be paid out.
  
  

6. Liability Stuff

We’re not responsible for lost revenue, profits, or other damages. If something goes sideways, our total responsibility won’t be more than the commissions we’ve already paid you.

7. Updates to These Terms

We may tweak these Terms & Conditions as we grow. If we do, we’ll let you know by email or in your affiliate dashboard. Sticking around after changes means you agree to the updates.

8. Governing Law

This program runs under the laws of Wisconsin, USA.
